In the heart of the Holy City of Makkah, a dream took root in 1998. Khyber Darbar was founded with a singular vision: to serve the pilgrims and residents of Makkah with the authentic, soul-warming flavors of the Khyber region.
Starting as a small, family-run establishment, we focused on doing one thing exceptionally well—preserving the traditional cooking methods of our ancestors. From our first Tandoor to our first pot of aromatic Kabuli Pulao, every dish was crafted with patience, passion, and a commitment to quality that remains our hallmark today.
